During our assemblies, we have a tribute and moment of silence for the donation of our school land by the Acjachemen Native American tribe, the Juaneño Band of Mission Indian people. Clarence Lobo was an Acjachemen Chief, and he advocated tirelessly for the

rights of children and Native Americans. We are honored and proud to be the FIRST school to be named after a Native American.
